What's In Your Water?
Enter your ZIP code to see which contaminants have been detected in your local water supply, then get matched to NSF-certified filters proven to reduce them.
How this works
We match your water utility's detected contaminants (from EPA/EWG data) to water filters with verified NSF certifications for those specific contaminants. Each filter is ranked by how many of your contaminants it is certified to reduce, the breadth of its NSF certifications, and its total cost of ownership.
Our database covers the 100 largest US public water systems, spanning 3,038 ZIP codes and approximately 90 million people. Data is sourced from the EPA Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS), the EWG Tap Water Database, and individual utility Consumer Confidence Reports.
