How It Works
The filter housing threads onto your faucet aerator and contains a compressed carbon block cartridge. When you flip the lever to "filter" mode, water is forced through the carbon block under tap pressure, which is significantly faster than gravity. Most units deliver 0.5 GPM of filtered water. The higher pressure and denser media give faucet filters better contact time than pitchers for the same cartridge volume.
